Junipix ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to handling your information with care. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We keep it plain — the same standard we hold our regulatory answers to.
01 — What We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Junipix, we may collect the following:
- Your name — so we can address you personally.
- Your email address — for account creation, product updates, and billing communications.
- Billing name and address — required by our payment processor for fraud prevention and invoicing.
- Payment method details — limited to card type, expiration date, and the last four digits of your card number. We never see or store your full card number. Raw payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (see Section 04).
- Transaction records — subscription tier, billing date, and payment status, retained for accounting and support purposes.
We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising pixels on this site.
02 — How We Use It
Your information is used solely to:
- Send you a confirmation that your access request was received.
- Notify you when the Junipix beta launches or early access becomes available.
- Manage your subscription, process payments, and send billing receipts.
- Provide customer support and respond to account-related requests.
- Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- Occasionally share relevant product updates — you can opt out at any time.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
03 — Email Communications
By submitting your email, you consent to receive transactional and product-related emails from Junipix. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time — no questions asked.
We send email via Microsoft 365 / Azure and your email address is processed through Microsoft's infrastructure. Microsoft's privacy policy applies to that processing.
04 — Payment Processing (Stripe)
All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you enter payment details on Junipix, that data is transmitted directly to Stripe's servers — it never passes through or is stored on ours.
What we receive from Stripe and store on our end:
- A Stripe-issued token that represents your payment method (not the card itself).
- Card type, expiration date, and last four digits — for display in your account and for support purposes.
- Billing name and address, if provided.
- Transaction IDs and subscription status.
Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. By using Junipix's paid services, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
05 — Data Storage
Your account data (name, email, billing records, and Stripe token) is stored in a secured database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We apply standard security practices including access controls, encrypted connections (TLS), and least-privilege access policies. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations. Upon account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
06 — Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data at any time.
- Withdraw consent to email communications by unsubscribing.
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to confirm we do not sell your data. We do not sell personal information.
EU/UK residents (GDPR): Our lawful basis for processing your data is performance of a contract (providing the service you subscribed to) and, for pre-launch communications, your explicit consent given at sign-up. You have the right to withdraw consent, request portability, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at members@junipix.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
07 — Cookies
This site does not currently use cookies or local storage for tracking. The only browser storage used is session-level and is required for the page to function (e.g., form state). No persistent tracking cookies are set.
08 — Changes to This Policy to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
